The Inclusive Team is a registered NDIS provider delivering specialist Behaviour Support and Dietetic services across the Central Coast, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie regions of NSW. We support children, adolescents and adults with disability to build skills, strengthen independence and improve quality of life through practical, evidence-based care.
Our Behaviour Support services are grounded in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles. We work to understand the underlying function of behaviours of concern and develop tailored strategies that reduce risk while increasing meaningful skill development. Our services include Functional Behaviour Assessments, Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans, behaviour data analysis, staff training and ongoing implementation support. We collaborate closely with families, support coordinators, schools, Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers and allied health teams to ensure consistent, ethical and person-centred outcomes.
We focus strongly on capacity building. This means we don’t just aim to reduce behaviours — we prioritise teaching communication skills, emotional regulation, daily living skills and coping strategies that promote long-term independence. Our approach aligns with NDIS Practice Standards and reflects a commitment to respectful, strengths-based support.
In addition to Behaviour Support, we provide specialised Dietetic services for NDIS participants. Our Dietetic support includes disability nutrition, mealtime management, texture modified diets, PEG feeding support, ARFID support and collaboration with Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists. We understand the complex intersection between disability, behaviour and nutrition, and tailor recommendations to each participant’s functional needs and goals.
The Inclusive Team provides both mobile and telehealth services, ensuring accessible support throughout the Central Coast, Newcastle and Lake Macquarie communities. We are proud to deliver services that are practical, collaborative and outcomes-focused, helping participants and their support networks feel confident, informed and empowered.
